Hip Implant Recall

Important Information concerning the DePuy Hip Replacement Recall & Lawsuits

On August 26, 2010, DePuy Orthopaedics (a company owned by Johnson & Johnson) recalled 93,000 hip replacement units. The recalled units are the ASR Acetabular System and the ASR Hip Resurfacing System. One in eight patients who received these devices has required a second surgery to remove and replace the devices.

If you had a hip replacement performed after July 2003, there is a chance you had a defective device implanted in you. You may be entitled to compensation.
